  • This version is an upgrade based on the official 0.7.10 version of GP2040-CE.
  • Fixed the bug in the 0.7.9 version of GK16&GF16.
    • Fixed the PS5 input mode setting bug in the menu.
    • Adjusted the LED flash speed setting item and cycle flash speed setting item in the menu to the larger the value, the faster the speed (previously the smaller the value, the faster the speed).Fixed the bug in the previous version that the M1 and M2 buttons could not customize the lights.

Question & Answers

How to update firmware?
Note: You must first do the Flash Nuke process (step 2) to completely clear the flash on the RP2040 device. Delete any custom settings you have as well as uploaded files.
  • 1 - Press and hold the BootSel button (bottom, pinhole) while plugging the device into your computer to enter BootSel/RPI drive mode.
  • 2 - Drag flash_nuke.uf2 onto the drive
  • 3 - Wait for the drive to disconnect and reconnect without unplugging power
  • 4 - Drag the guilekeys.uf2 firmware file onto the RPI-RP2 drive and wait for it to disconnect
  • 5 - Use a gamepad tester and check if the controller is connected by pressing the button.
How to use Brook FGC2 to break the 8-minute limit on PS5?
Note: You need to plug the FGC2 into the USB port of the PS5 console, and the controller needs to use Xinput mode. FGC2 should not be plugged into the .EXT port of the controller.
  • 1 - You need to plug Brook FGC2 into the USB port of the PS5 console, and then plug the USB A port of the data cable into the end USB port of FGC2.
  • 2 - Next, hold down the B button and plug the USB C port of the data cable into the controller. (Or you can use the menu function to switch the input mode to Xinput mode after connecting the controller)

WHICH INPUT MODE SHOULD I USE?
This will depend on the platform you will be playing on:
  • Use XInput Mode as the preferred mode for compatibility with PC games and 3rd party console adapters
  • Use PS4 Mode on PS4, and on PS4 games on PS5 systems
  • Use PS3 Mode on PS3, and on PS4 with games that support legacy controllers
  • Use Switch Mode on Nintendo Switch
  • Use Keyboard Mode for MAME cabinets, PC rhythm games, etc.

  • EXT. port is used for extension functions,
  • Please do not connect your game console through this port.

  • For PlayStation 4 compatibility with your Guilekeys Controller, you will need to engage the PS4 Mode or employ the Guilekeys Controller’s PS Passthrough add-on. This ensures seamless integration and full functionality with your PS4, allowing you to enjoy a premium gaming experience with the precision and responsiveness of our controller.
  • For PlayStation 5 compatibility, it’s essential to disable the PS4 Mode on your Guilekeys controller and activate the PS Passthrough add-on. Additionally, navigate to the Settings section of your Guilekeys controller interface, and ensure that PS4 is selected as your input mode. Here, you will also decide whether you want your device to function as a standard controller or as a fight stick, tailored to your gaming preferences and style. This setup process ensures that your Guilekeys Controller leverages its unique design and capabilities to enhance your PlayStation 5 gaming sessions, offering unparalleled control and ergonomic comfort.
